Sampson declines SCR

In an unexpected turn of events Sampson will not be going to SCR due to financial reasons. In his place will be the 2nd place runner up James Jones!

[Dec 8] Ultimate Marvel Throwdown 2

Sam Chow "Schowt" took first place at Ultimate Marvel Throwdown 2. Coming back after months of absence Sam was responsible for sending Stabbosford, James Jones and Bryan to losers. He'll be going to SCR 2013 as a result. It's good to see vintage Sam back and still winning games he dislikes.

June 2012 Fundraising Project Gifts

I got a bunch of nice items during my time at E3 and I'll be giving them out everyone who contributes to this month's fundraising project!

I'll keep the entries simple this time. It will be $2 per entry. And if you contribute $25 or more, you will get the Canadian Joysticks Lapel Pin and I'll double your entries!

The gifts include T-shirts from Atlus' Persona 4  and  Family Guy Online, Nintendoland pins, and one-of-a-kind CanJS embroidered Disney Interactive's Epic Mickey 2 Oswald Hat!

Something I'm working on is giving gifts to people who contribute to specific tier amounts. One of them is this collectable Canadian Joysticks Pin. For each person who contributed $25 or more in April (I keep a running total), I will send this awesome pin to you. Only a limited number of these were made, so get them while you can!

How Contributors Are Chosen

For everyone who is wondering how the contributor is chosen, the short answer is a 9-digit random number generator and sorting.

I keep everyone's name on a master list and assign a 9-digit random number. Once everyone has been assigned a number, I regenerate the random number a few times and then sort them out. The person who appears at the top of the list is the chosen special contributor.
